The Reading & Writing Academy, a subsidiary of GoldWrite Publishing, was founded by Mrs. Ashea Goldson.

 

 

Who is Ashea Goldson?

     Ashea Goldson is a native NewYorker, who has called  Metro atlanta her home for almost twenty years. She is currently an ELA/Reading teacher in the Clayton County Public School system. As a Fordham University and University of Phoenix alumna, she is well trained in the English, language Arts, and Reading subject matter. She is also a down to earth author, freelance writer, and entrepreneur who loves her family, friends, students, and  ministry. After spending over twenty five years as an educator and administrator/co-founder of a private school, she continues to exert her dedication to language and literacy.

     As a Black Expressions Bestselling author and award winning poet, with an insatiable passion for the written word, she continues to write books, songs, poetry, plays, and screenplays.  She is currently working on her eighth novel  along with a number of  creative projects, including the launch of a film production company.

     She is an avid reader and a continual supporter of literacy in her community and around the globe. In addition to this she hosts a blogtalkradio show called WordThirst Authors & Gospel Showcase which highlights the work of other like-minded visionaries.
